| To
create a colorful, easy-to-assemble holiday gift box, follow
these instructions: |
| 1)
Print out page 1 -- the box and matching gift tag. To make a
sturdier box, you can glue the paper to a piece of cardstock
or thin cardboard. |
| 2)
Cut out the colored shape of the gift box along the solid line. |
| 3)
With the colored side of the paper facing you, fold the box
downward on the dotted lines. With that side still facing you,
put a light application of glue one each of the four side flaps
marked "X" in Diagram 1 (or you can use transparent
tape). |
| 4)
Fold the box into its final shape as in Diagram 2, gluing the
side flaps to the inside of the short sides. |
| 5)
Cut out the matching gift tag, write your message on the blank
side, and attach the tag to the box. |
